Refreshing a logo for Roboris Solutions.

What do you do when you're happy with your logo but want to refresh your branding?

Here's how Darren at DL Design approached a logo refresh for Roboris Solutions.

During a Zoom call, Vanessa, the owner of Roboris Solutions, expressed interest in updating her logo as the company name was changing. She wanted my professional advice on how to refresh the logo while keeping its core elements intact. My initial thought was that the graphic in the existing logo was modern and refined, so we agreed to retain it, despite the name change.

However, I suggested updating the colour scheme. The original black and blue combination felt a bit stark, so I proposed a dark grey to soften the look. After exploring several colour options – including dark blue, purple, and green – Vanessa ultimately chose orange for the refreshed branding.

To complement the updated colour, I selected Regulator Nova, a clean, modern sans-serif font that looks professional and works well across all platforms, from print to digital. This ensured a consistent look for the new branding across various media.

To maintain brand consistency, I created a set of mini-brand guidelines, detailing font choices and colour codes for both print and web use. These guidelines will ensure that the refreshed logo always stays on-brand moving forward.

Finally, the logo needed a tagline. We agreed on "Business support you can depend on," which fit perfectly with the new logo design and aligned with Roboris Solutions' mission.

Here’s what Vanessa had to say about her logo.

After a name and direction change for my business, Darren recently rebranded my company and provided a new logo and colour scheme.
He was very easy to talk to and somehow managed to work out what I was after with some very vague information from me! He provided the exact look I wanted, which I am very impressed with. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs their branding done.
Once my new website is launched he will be setting up my digital business card as well!
