Perfect bound and saddle stitched brochures and booklets
ARE YOU CONSIDERING A NEW BROCHURE TO ADVERTISE YOUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES?
There are a number of ways to produce a brochure but the most popular options our clients choose are perfect bound and saddle stitched brochures. So what are they and what is the difference?
Perfect bound brochures
Perfect bound brochures are a fantastic choice when you want a premium finish to your documents; from a simple brochure, magazine or product catalogue all the way through to a bespoke company brochure with a page count from 40 up to 240 printed pages and quantities from 50 to 100,000.
There are also up to five choices of paper for the cover and eight choices of paper for the inner pages, to help you create the perfect brochure combination. Our brochures come in a choice of sizes from A6 (105 x 148mm), A5 (148 x 210mm) or A4 (210 x 297mm). The overall quality can be enhanced by adding a luxurious finish such as a gloss, matt or a soft touch laminated cover.
Once printed, the pages and cover are glued together at the spine with a strong, flexible thermal glue; the remaining sides are trimmed to give clean ‘perfect’ edges - hence the name. Our perfect bound brochures are up to 60% stronger due to the use of a Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) adhesive, making them ideal for use with heavy paper stocks and a large number of pages.
Saddle stitched brochures
If you only need a small amount of pages from 8 up to 100, then our saddle stitched brochures are the ideal solution for your brochures, magazines, catalogues, manuals and newsletters at a very affordable price, with quantities from 50 to 15,000.
There are a wide range of paper stock options in both coated and uncoated and a choice of cover materials too, from 130gsm gloss all the way up to 300gsm coated paper. Available in a range of sizes from A6 (105 x 148mm), A5 (148 x 210mm) or A4 (210 x 297mm), 210mm square and DL (99 x 210mm) sizes.
Once printed, the pages are nested and stitched together with wire, forming ‘staples’ through the folded spine. If you want a really high quality finish, you can choose a gloss, matt or soft touch laminated cover.
With such choice available the possibilities are endless, but we are always here to help you make the right choice for your business.
